As an Occupational Hygienist I assist businesses of all sizes in creating safer and healthier work environments for their employees. By leveraging my analytical chemistry expertise, I help them identify, evaluate, and effectively manage environmental and occupational health hazards specific to their industry.
Joe provides a range of specialist occupational hygiene and health and safety consultancy services for clients across both public and private sectors. His expertise includes conducting risk assessments, monitoring hazardous substances such as chemicals, dust, fumes, vibration, and noise, and evaluating the effectiveness of control measures, including respiratory protective equipment (RPE) and local exhaust ventilation (LEV). Joe offers expert advice to help businesses comply with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
With a background in various industrial settings, Joe has worked with diverse organisations to identify, assess, and mitigate environmental and occupational health hazards specific to their sector.
In addition to his Occupation Hygiene work, Joe is a practised analytical chemist with over 12 years experience in a wide field of environments.
Joe graduated with an MChem Chemistry with Study in Industry degree from the University of Sheffield. He is also a Member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and is currently working towards additional professional qualifications to further enhance his expertise in the field.
