Certificate in Controlling Health Risks Construction (CCHRC)

This BOHS accredited course helps construction supervisors to understand, identify and control common construction site health risks.

The course is supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), the Health in Construction Leadership Group (HCLG) and construction organisations involved in the BOHS Breathe Freely campaign.

This course is aimed at site supervisors who have responsibility for controlling the health risks on a construction site.  The course is also helpful to Health and Safety advisors and Managers or people who aspire to be in these roles.

This 6 hour course can be delivered virtually or in person.  We are able to provide the training at your premises or in our state of the art training facility in Doncaster.

The course consists of 6 modules including:

  1. Introduction and managing health risks
  2. Risk assessment and control principles
  3. Chemical and biological hazards and control
  4. Physical hazards and control
  5. Musculo Skeletal Disorders and mental health risks and control
  6. Putting learning into action

There is a short multiple-choice exam at the end of the course and delegates who pass will received a Certificate in Controlling Health Risks on Construction Sites.

The course can be delivered in 1 day or split into multiple shorter sessions depending on your requirements.
