Georgina brings over 24 years of frontline regulatory experience from her career as an Inspector with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). During this time, she conducted hundreds of workplace inspections and accident investigations, produced numerous reports for legal proceedings, and regularly presented evidence in criminal and coroners courts. Her detailed and authoritative reporting has supported prosecutors in understanding complex cases, progressing successful enforcement action. She has frequently delivered briefings to solicitors and Counsel, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and confidence in the evidential basis of each case.
In her role with Pragma, Georgina applies this extensive regulatory and investigative expertise to advise, analyse, and report in civil proceedings. Her insight into enforcement expectations, evidential standards, and industry best practice provides clients with a uniquely informed perspective.
A significant part of Georgina’s career has been dedicated to asbestos regulation. As a nominated asbestos Inspector for HSE’s Construction Division, she has undertaken more than 150 inspections of licensed asbestos contractors, completed over 50 “Duty to Manage” interventions, and investigated 32 asbestos‑related incidents. Her experience spans auditing duty holders’ asbestos policies and procedures, assessing management systems, and granting asbestos licences. Across multiple sectors, Georgina has consistently driven improvements in asbestos compliance and championed best practice in managing one of the most challenging health risks in the workplace.
Georgina’s regulatory experience is supported by a Post Graduate Diploma in Regulatory Occupational Health and Safety.
