Our Health and Safety experts can help you understand and apply Health and Safety regulations.

Our team of Health and Safety experts understand the unique demands placed the construction industry.  They will help you ensure you remain compliant with the relevant health and safety legislation and protect your staff and members of the public.

We can work with you to create a Health and Safety Improvement Plan (HASIP) that will help you to make your workplace as safe as possible for your staff and contractors.  The plan will be clear, straightforward and, above all else, manageable.

Our team will ensure you remain compliant with the relevant legislation, including CDM Regulations, to protect your staff and the public.

Industry specific health and safety advice can increase staff productivity, prevent occupational disease and help to prevent incidents that may lead to compensation claims or reputational damage.

Whilst contractors and builders may know their responsibilities, they may struggle to find the time to record how they are successfully meeting the required standards, or they may not know where to start. However, a lack of action can leave you open to HSE involvement, legal action and could even result in your site being closed.

We can also help you make sure your site meets relevant COVID-19 guidelines.

The areas we can help with include:

  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and/or review of your current policies and procedures
  • Help with focused risk assessments (manual handling, COSHH, DSEAR, fire, asbestos, lead, legionella)
  • Help with the management of chemical and physical hazards including dust, silica, DEEE, noise and vibration
  • Complete personal air monitoring for COSHH compliance (including activities involving woodworking or respirable crystalline silica)
  • Complete noise and vibration surveys
  • Noise surveys
  • Dust surveys
  • Specific regulatory advice on the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002, the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2002
  • Providing the guides and checklists you will need to maintain effective health and safety standards onsite
  • Delivering training courses for your workers, site managers and directors

Our team also includes  face fit-testers who can help with queries related to Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) and fit-testing.
