Asbestos surveying and risk management, removals and air monitoring
I am an Asbestos Specialist with 18 years’ experience in surveying, identifying, and managing the risks associated with asbestos containing materials.
During my career, I have carried out hundreds of asbestos surveys and thousands of inspections, and assisted duty holders to manage the risks associated with asbestos containing materials in compliance with the regulatory requirements.
Throughout her career Elizabeth has accumulated a wealth of asbestos experience. She has carried out hundreds of asbestos surveys and thousands of inspections involving identification of asbestos containing materials. She has also carried out exposure and air monitoring during a range of asbestos removal projects including those associated with complex works involving high risk materials.
Elizabeth started her career in asbestos consultancy in 2007, providing exposure and air monitoring, surveying, inspections, and management advice. She then moved on to act as an Asbestos Appointed Person at Yorkshire Water, before joining Pragma and Associates as an Asbestos Specialist in 2025.
Elizabeth has extensive experience in writing and reviewing asbestos management plans for complex sites containing high-risk materials. She also has knowledge of writing asbestos risk assessments, preparing safe working procedures and quality management plans and assessing organisational competency and compliance in relation to asbestos.
Elizabeth is a Licentiate Member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society’s Faculty of Asbestos Assessment and Management.
